Dominick Dunne Passes Away
Best-selling author and Vanity Fair special correspondent Dominick Dunne died on Wednesday at the age of 83, his son Griffin Dunne tells the magazine.
Dunne passed away of bladder cancer in his Manhattan home, his son said.
The journalist and author was a fixture in the courtroom during the OJ Simpson trial, and he covered several other notable trials including those of the Menendez brothers, Michael Skakel, William Kennedy Smith and Phil Spector. He also covered President Bill Clinton's impeachment proceedings.
