Sheriff’s Dept Confirms Intent To Re-Interview Mel Gibson

ET confirms that the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department wants to re-interview Mel Gibson.

The LASD tells ET that they wish to ask the star about an alleged extortion plot purported by his ex, Oksana Grigorieva.

According to authorities, they do not know when they'll wrap up the extortion part of the investigation -- telling ET that the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office won't make a decision on charges until both portions of the case have been handed over.
