Celebs Celebrate Defeat of Same-Sex Marriage Ban
Stars including Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears, Christina Applegate and many more are tweeting their thoughts about the news that a federal judge has overturned Proposition 8, the California ballot that banned same-sex marriages in the state.
"This just in: Equality Won!" Ellen tweeted.
"So happy! Today is a great day for love and equality. Congrats California!" Britney wrote.
