Sarah Palin has a Derby Day
Sarah Palin had some fun in the sun at the Belmont Stakes in New York on Saturday. The former vice-Presidential nominee was rooting for a horse named First Dude, which is what she referred to husband Todd as during her tenure as governor of Alaska.
After her horse crossed the finish line in third place, she Tweeted, "Sweet run by Drosselmeyer today at Belmont. The colt is a gorgeous, steady athlete. But doggone, First Dude didn't win. Bush's fault."
A steed by the name of Drosselmeyer took the crown.
