Kate Gosselin on ‘Starting Over’ One Year After Her Split With Jon

One year after her headline-making split from her husband Jon, Kate Gosselin opens up about how she is coping and helping her eight children start over.

"[Cara] was upset with me because I forgot to sign them up for something at school," Kate tells People magazine. "I said, 'Cara, I had a really rough year. This is a new year. You've got to give me that. Let's start over.' So I've really worked to keep my word with them."

Kate and her kids return to TV on June 6 in a new TLC special, "Kate Plus 8," and the reality-show mom says her brood has handled the past year very well.
