Judge Delays Vacation to Handle Lindsay Lohan Case
The judge who issued a bench warrant for Lindsay Lohan on Thursday is reportedly taking time out of her vacation to preside over the actress' next scheduled hearing on Monday.
Judge Marsha N. Revel was supposed to start her vacation on Monday -- with another judge overseeing Lohan's court date -- but Revel has decided to use her first vacation day to handle Lohan's hearing, a court spokesman tells the Los Angeles Times.
Revel issued the warrant for Lohan's arrest -- which was later recalled when Lohan paid a $10,000 bail bond -- after the actress failed to appear at her mandatory court hearing. She was reportedly stuck in France, claiming her passport was stolen while she was at the Cannes Film Festival.
