Corey Haim Reportedly Obtained 550 Pills Illegally

According to the California attorney general, the late Corey Haim had acquired over 550 prescription pills illegally within the three months preceding his death.

Attorney Jerry Brown says the former child star obtained the pills through seven different doctors, the Associated Press reports. Brown told the AP that the doctors who prescribed the medication, which included Valium and Soma, were questioned by investigators and appeared to have been tricked into writing the prescriptions.

Haim, known for his roles in 'Lost Boys' and 'License to Drive,' passed away in his mother's California apartment early last month. He was 38.
