"Dancing with the Stars" pro Derek Hough and his former "Dancing" partner and girlfriend, actress Shannon Elizabeth, have reportedly called it quits!

The pair, who met on the sixth season of "DWTS" in 2008, have broken up after more than a year of dating, says People.com. Matching statements that were reportedly posted by Hough and Elizabeth appeared on Twitter Friday night.

Hough's reported tweet reads: "Hi everyone, we wanted you all to know directly from us, that Shannon & I have decided to end our relationship as boyfriend & girlfriend..." while the 'American Pie' actress is said to have tweeted later, "however, we love & care about each other very much & will remain friends & in each other's lives."
