Stars Shine at Wallis Annenberg Groundbreaking

William H. Macy and more celebs helped celebrate the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts groundbreaking in Beverly Hills. 

"I've always thought if you build the theater and do good work, they will come," William tells ET. "Los Angeles isn't known as a theater town, but I happen to know there are a lot of people here who love theater."

The actor spoke at the ceremony, where the organization took a big step in realizing their dream of a performance space at the site of the historic Beverly Hills Post Office. The building will be preserved and transformed into a performing arts center, which is slated to open in late 2012.
