‘Precious’ Star Gabourey Sidibe on Making Friends in Hollywood
The excitement continued for 'Precious' actress Gabourey Sidibe, 'The Blind Side' star Sandra Bullock and 'Invictus' actor Morgan Freeman as the Oscar nominees stepped out onto the red carpet of the 41st NAACP Image Awards.
Sidibe won an Image Award for Outstanding Actress In A Motion Picture and talked to ET's Kevin Frazier about her first awards season. "I get to make friends with people who happen to be celebrities. ... I'm just a girl. I'm just lucky." Sidibe also disclosed who she'll be taking to the Oscars, telling Kevin, "It's my mama."
Freeman is nominated for an Academy Award for his role in 'Invictus' but reveals he doesn't even have a speech prepared. "If I was voting, I'd be voting for Jeff Bridges," he told ET's red carpet correspondent Garcelle Beauvais of the 'Crazy Heart' actor.
