SeaWorld Trainer on Fellow Trainer’s Death
With killer whales in the background, SeaWorld trainer Chuck Tompkins goes on the record with ET about the tragic death of his colleague, Dawn Brancheau.
Brancheau, 40, passed away earlier this week after a killer whale attacked her with SeaWorld visitors looking on.
"I'm deeply sorry about anybody who was there who had to see and witness what went on. Our obvious goal is to provide education, entertainment and have people come to be inspired and we didn't do it that day. We failed. We deeply apologize for that," Tompkins told ET in a new interview.
