Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps on Tiger Woods
On the eve of Tiger Woods' first televised comments since his November car accident and infidelity allegations, Michael Phelps spoke to ET in Vancouver about the embattled golfer.
Phelps, in town as a spectator for the Winter Olympics, told ET, "I think the biggest thing with the Tiger thing [is that] I just want him and his family to take time, and to take time for themselves. I think that's one of the most important things in life -- family -- and really being able to have them and have them by your side and have them a part of your life is very special and meaningful. I am wishing him and his family the best.
"And he's the greatest golfer of all time and you know, I enjoy, I love watching him," Phelps continued. "Whether he decides to come back or not, that's his decision. The good thing is, you know him and his family are back together and trying to work things out."
