Tiger Woods Prior to Scandal: Family First and Golf Second
In his last known interview before news broke of his alleged affairs, Tiger Woods spoke of keeping his family first while maintaining his title as the best golfer in the world -- and ET has the exclusive video.
Sky Television New Zealand's "Deaker on Sport" host Murray Deaker spoke to Woods on November 10, only weeks before his car accident that sparked a media frenzy. During the interview, which aired Tuesday night in New Zealand, Deaker posed the question to the pro golfer: "Family first and golf second ... always been that way?" Woods answers, "Always."
Deaker suggests that Woods' family time means less time on the golf course, to which Woods, 33, responds, "I don't practice as much as I used to. I don't spend the amount of hours on the golf course, not like I used to ... But my focus is so much more intense than it used to be ... I know whatever I have to get done [has to be done] in a shorter amount of time."
