Ricki Lake and Children Escape Fire at Rental Home
Actress and former talk-show host Ricki Lake, along with her two sons and their dog, safely made it out of their Malibu rental home as it went up in flames Saturday morning.
A rep for Lake tells ET the wooden house burned quickly and was destroyed by the fire. Lake lost many personal items but is grateful that everyone is okay, the rep says, adding that the star is currently with friends after the traumatic experience.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department tells us that firemen responded to a 911 call from the home, during which the caller explained that a couch was on fire.

Dr. Drew: Give Lindsay Lohan a Chance!
"Celebrity Rehab" doctor at large, Drew Pinsky, says Lindsay Lohan's Friday evening tweets about substance abuse indicate to him that she's in touch with her problem. Retweeting Lohan's comment that "substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night," Dr. Drew issued his own reaction via Twitter on Saturday, writing, "She gets it now. Give her a chance & some time." Lohan admitted that she failed her most recent court-ordered drug test and said she's prepared to face the consequences.

Lindsay Lohan Tweets: I Failed My Drug Test
Lindsay Lohan tweeted Friday night that she had failed a drug test. Several messages were posted on the actress' Twitter account Friday night that read, in total, "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Paris Hilton Strikes Plea Deal in Drug-Possession Case
Paris Hilton will reportedly plead guilty on Monday to two misdemeanors following her arrest last month for alleged possession of a controlled substance in Las Vegas.
The socialite is expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer, and she'll be sentenced to a year of probation, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which acquired a copy of Hilton's plea deal.
The deal also reportedly stipulates that Hilton has to complete a substance-abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
