Beau Bridges and Wife Being Honored for their ‘Outstanding Family’

Emmy winner Beau Bridges and his wife Wendy will accept an "Outstanding Family Award" on behalf of the Bridges Family at an upcoming benefit event. El Nido Family Centers, a non-profit that strives to empower at-risk children, youth and families in L.A., will bestow the Bridges with the award at the Fourth Annual Champions for Families Awards Dinner at the Skirball Cultural Center on October 21. "The family values that their parents, Dorothy and Lloyd Bridges, instilled in them have been passed on to three generations of Bridges. These very traits of gaining self-esteem and achieving goals are also the very core of El Nido’s programs that support and strengthen families," the non-profit says. Read More »

Accused Celeb-Scamming Salon Owner Released

The owner of a Beverly Hills beauty spa and salon facing charges of stealing credit card info from Liv Tyler and a jewelry designer has been released from police custody. A rep for the U.S. Attorney's Office tells ET that Maria Gabriela Perez is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 20. The 51-year-old owner of Chez Gabriela Studio was arrested on Wednesday and is facing two counts of access device fraud. The U.S. Attorney's rep tells us the possible charges are not related to Jennifer Aniston, who said she stopped going to Perez after they had a falling out. Read More »

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Baby News!

Newlyweds Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are reportedly expecting their first child together. "Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," Kerr says in the Spanish edition of Vogue magazine's September issue. "I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job," the stunning Victoria's Secret model says, recalling a bout of morning sickness. Kathy Ireland Receiving Special Design Honor

Kathy Ireland is set to be honored with a special award for her charitable efforts. Gift for Life -- the charitable organization of the gift, stationery and home decor industries -- announced that Ireland will receive its first Design For Life Award next January 30 in New York City. "It is a tremendous honor to join Gift for Life in waging a peaceful war [against] HIV/AIDS," the Ireland says. Read More »

Zsa Zsa Gabor Improving, Husband Collapses From Exhaustion

Zsa Zsa Gabor's health continues to improve but her husband is now recovering after passing out from exhaustion and injuring his shoulder. The 93-year-old star's publicist, John Blanchette, says Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt collapsed  from exhaustion last night at the couple's Beverly Hills home and hit his shoulder on a table. He has been advised by his doctor to stay in bed and rest for the next two days. Blanchette said Gabor -- who suffered a broken hip in July that required surgery -- is doing better and has been able to eat and is talking a little.  Read More »

Ricky Martin: Memoir Recalls Erased Memories

Singer Ricky Martin is set to release his autobiography in November and says writing the book was a great spiritual journey. The autobiography -- entitled Me -- will be released in both English and Spanish on November 2, the Grammy Award-winning artist said in a press release Thursday. The Puerto Rican singer has said that preparing to write the book was one of the reasons he decided to reveal earlier this year that he is gay. "Writing this book allowed me to explore the different paths and experiences that have led me to be who I am today. I've had to tie up loose ends that I’d never attempted to tie up before, to work deeply into memories that were already erased from my mind.
