Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore commented on the early morning release of Lindsay Lohan from jail. "Lindsay Lohan was released from custody at 1:35 this morning," Whitmore announced. "Per a court order she has been sent directly to her next destination which is a treatment center. She will now be under the supervision of the L.A. county probation department." Earlier this month, Judge Marsha Revel ruled that Lohan had violated her probation tied to a 2007 DUI and sentenced her to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in rehab. Zsa Zsa is scheduled to leave the hospital on Friday, August 6, and is "doing much better."
