While attending a special screening of their new family film 'Nanny McPhee Returns,' Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal shared their heartfelt reactions to the news that Michael Douglas will undergo treatment for a tumor in his throat.
"It sounds as though they're going to get it [the tumor] and he'll be okay. And that's what we all devoutly hope," Thompson tells ET, adding of Douglas: "He's clearly a very, very nice person… I just wish him well as soon as possible."
"I hope every good thing for him," Maggie adds.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger announced Tuesday night on CNN's "Larry King Live" that she will leave her radio show after her contract expires at the year's end --- the news comes in the wake of fallout from her controversial use of a racial epithet while on the air last week.
Dr. Laura reiterated her apology for the use of the word, explaining, "I always tell people on my show to do the right thing, I thought I was trying to be helpful, I was trying to make a philosophical point but I was wrong and I apologized and there are people who won't accept my apology."
She went on, "I'm here to say that my contract is up for my radio show, and I've made the decision not to do radio anymore…The reason is I want to regain my first amendment rights. I want to be able to say what’s on ...

Heidi Montag took to her Twitter to offer up kind words about her plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan following news that he had passed away.
Dr. Ryan performed ten plastic surgery procedures on Heidi in one day, dramatically transforming the reality star's appearance, Us magazine reported. "I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan's death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known," Heidi tweeted. "He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met. He was the most brilliant, talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world."
The former MTV star also sent her condolences via Twitter, writing: "My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone who was ever blessed enough to meet him. He is in a better place."

In an interview with Allure magazine, Kim Kardashian chats about her past and present love life, even opening up about her sex tape and why she's now content being single.
The reality star describes the release of her sex tape as "humiliating," saying it wasn't her "most proud moment." She tells Allure, "But now let’s move on. Not that I don’t think it’s no one’s business, but I think I’ve done a good job with replacing negative things with positive things."

Stars put on their cleats and headed out on the green acres of the golf course for The Inaugural Screen Actors Guild Foundation Golf Classic on Monday afternoon in Burbank, CA. Joe Jackson has filed new court papers in regards to the appointment of former Michael Jackson attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain as executors of his late son's estate. In a 41-page legal brief filed Friday in Los Angeles with the 2nd District Court of Appeals, Jackson claims he was "not treated with dignity and worth" when the lawsuit he had filed to dismiss the executors of his late son's estate was itself dismissed last November by Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff. Jackson's attorney Brian Oxman claims in the court papers that his client was denied "due process in not according him a hearing where he could present evidence of his standing."

A rep for actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is giving ET the very latest details about the health of the ailing 93-year-old star. Her rep John Blanchette confirms to ET that Gabor has left the hospital and is now at her Bel-Air, Calif. home. Earlier Monday, Gabor's rep told ET that she was in and out of consciousness. A spokesperson for Gabor's daughter Francesca Hilton told City News Service, "She's happy her mother is going home," adding that Gabor had expressed on Monday that she wanted to go home.

A tumor in Michael Douglas' throat has reportedly been discovered by doctors.
According to People.com, the 'Wall Street' actor, 65, will endure eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Douglas' doctors expect him to have a full recovery, a spokesperson for the actor told the website.
Douglas said in a statement to People, "I am very optimistic."
