The owner of the Beverly Hills beauty spa and salon Chez Gabriela Studio was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is facing federal fraud charges after she allegedly took credit card information from her celebrity clients, charging thousands of dollars. The United States Secret Service arrested Maria Gabriela Perez, 51, on two counts of access device fraud, charges that can carry a maximum of 25 years in federal prison. A criminal complaint alleges that Perez ran up nearly $68,000 in unauthorized charges on a credit card belonging to a high-end jewelry designer. ET has learned that Judge Elden Fox and the attorneys in Lindsay Lohan's case met Wednesday afternoon. Both parties met with the judge briefly in chambers. Los Angeles Superior Court Public Information Officer Allan Parachini tells ET that the next hearing date on the matter has been set for August 25 at 9 a.m. to discuss Lohan's treatment status, although the star will not be present.
