Brad Pitt Returns to New Orleans for Katrina Anniversary

Brad Pitt returned to New Orlean's ninth ward to show the progress his Make it Right foundation has achieved in the five years since the city was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina hit, leaving thousands homeless, Pitt organized the Make it Right foundation, which builds safe, sustainable and affordable homes for working families. Violante Placido, George Clooney's gorgeous co-star in 'The American,' says she and George tried to let their bodies "speak" during their sex scene in the new thriller. "We had to find a way to make it natural and let your body speak somehow," Placido tells People.com. "We were very open to one another to try and make it work. We just said, 'Let’s trust each other,' and we did. I felt like we had to let ourselves go." "It had to look real; it is the turning point for the two characters," she continues. In only one year, Mickey Mouse will make his presence felt in Hawaii with a new vacation wonderland. Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai'i, is scheduled to open on August 29, 2011. The 21-acre resort, under construction adjacent to the Ko Olina beach, is said to be inspired by the stories and culture of Hawaii and promises to offer Disney fun and relaxation for the whole fam'. Miss America 2011 Contestants Visit Disney World

All 53 contestants for the title of Miss America 2011 gathered at the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL on Friday for a magical day of fun. The ladies continued the Miss America tradition of walking together down Main Street USA toward Cinderella Castle, and they smiled wide for photo-ops with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Cinderella and Belle. Then, they broke up into smaller groups to see the rest of the park, which includes beloved attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Mad Tea Party and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. The contestants also recorded interviews that are set to appear in the 2011 Miss America Pageant broadcast, which airs live from Las Vegas on Saturday, January 15 at 8 P.M. ET.
