Sheriff’s Department to Review Alleged Mel Gibson Tapes

ET has learned the latest from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department regarding the explosive tapes, purported to be of Mel Gibson lashing out against the mother of his child, Oksana Grigorieva. The Sheriff's Department does not have the power to subpoena the tapes, but it will review them as part of their domestic violence investigation of the star. According to RadarOnline.com, the man purported to be Gibson on the tape admits to hitting the woman heard on the recording (said to be Grigorieva) and twice threatens to kill her; after she says he hit her and broke her teeth, he replies, "You deserved it." Could Shocking Audio Tapes Incriminate Mel Gibson?

An explosive new audio tape of a man purported to be Mel Gibson lashing out in a verbal tirade against his ex girlfriend and mother of his child, Oksana Grigorieva, has surfaced as the star is under investigation by the L.A. Sheriff's Department for domestic violence. According to RadarOnline.com, the man purported to be Gibson on the tape admits to hitting the woman heard on the recording (said to be Grigorieva) and twice threatens to kill her; after she says he hit her and broke her teeth, he replies, "You deserved it." The recording contains graphic and profane language, and at one point the man says the woman needs a "bat to the side of the head" after she responds to his rant with, "You're unbalanced. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Begin Master Cleanse

Hollywood hot couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are taking on a nutritional challenge together. The couple both announced on their separate Twitter accounts that they're starting the Master Cleanse. Ashton tweeted: "[Nine] hrs into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm this is gonna be rough." Demi sent an update, writing: "[Second] day of master cleanse and off to hike with hubby and the dogs. 2nd day better than the 1st!" In response to some questions from her followers about her reasons for doing the master cleanse, Demi tweeted back "this is for health" and "[I'll] let you know if I make it to day 4." Read More »

Angelina Jolie on Marrying Brad Pitt: It’d Be Hard to Say No to the Kids

Actress Angelina Jolie discloses under what condition she might consider marrying her longtime love and father of her six children Brad Pitt. Jolie says if the kids asked them to wed, they might go through with it. "I think it'd be hard to say no to the kids. They're not asking," she tells "Good Morning America" correspondent Cynthia McFadden. "They're very aware that nothing is missing." She says of she and Pitt's parenting strategy, "I'm better at disciplining the girls and he's better at disciplining the boys. ... Kevin Frazier and Celebs Up at Bat for All-Star Softball Game

ET's Kevin Frazier rounded the bases on Sunday in Anaheim, CA at the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. Proudly wearing his flaming red uniform, Kevin was on fire in the starting lineup of the American League team. After Kevin swung in batting practice, his very sportsmanlike opponent Jon Hamm boosted his morale. "Take it easy. You'll be alright," he coached. "You don't need to hit a ball hard. It's about putting it right in the sweet spot." One curveball that caused Kevin to quiver at the knees was the prospect of facing Olympic gold medal softball champ Jennie Finch at the plate. Angelina Jolie talks about her 4-year-old daughter Shiloh's tomboy look, saying she finds her daughter "fascinating." "Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth," the 'Salt' actress tells Reuters. "Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go."
