I realize that it is human nature but I ask that you be particularly sensitive to the feelings of my wife. She has been a terrific partner for many years and should not be treated with any disrespect at this time. Things fell apart between us. That is all. Police Chief Michael Reese is explaining why the Poland, Oregon Police Bureau decided to reopen a case involving Al Gore, in which a woman accused the former vice president of repeatedly touching her in a sexual manner. "In reviewing this case, we have determined there were procedural issues with the 2009 investigation that merit re-opening the case. There should have been command level review at the time on the specifics of this case and decisions on whether the investigation should go forward," Reese says. Edwards later admitted to being the biological parent of Hunter's daughter Frances Quinn. Earlier this week, Elizabeth spoke out about the affair but Young says he was not satisfied with her interviews, telling ET, "As much as I admire Elizabeth's resilience and understand her pain, I am disappointed that she is not yet facing the truth about the scandal that hurt so many people, and our country. She is not facing the facts and not taking responsibility for her role in constructing the myth of John Edwards and enabling him to carry on a terrible deception." Read More »
