Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro is using his star status to urge minorities and others to join the bone marrow registry and help save the life of 6-month-old Sophia Lopez, diagnosed with leukemia in January, and other children like her. From a Puerto Rican family living in the Bronx, Sophia will not survive without the help of a matching bone marrow donor.
"No child should ever have to suffer," says Del Toro. "Sophia is a just 6 months old, and she's been through unbearable pain. It's so important that Latinos and people of mixed descent join the bone marrow registry so that children like Sophia have a fighting chance to live."

In the report, taken by a member of the Santaquin, Utah police department, it states:
"I was dispatched to a report of an adult male who had fallen and was bleeding from his head ... the first officer on the scene stated the bleeding from an estimated two-inch laceration was controlled ... there was what appeared to be about 1/2 cup of blood pooled on the tile floor where he sat with some smearing from the patient's own movement ... he seemed slightly disoriented but was able to answer questions ... I observed nothing suspicious ... in the few minutes officers were with the patient, he became more and more lucid ... the patient was assisted in walking to the ambulance by rescue workers then transported to the hospital."

A rep for Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, the hospital where former child star Gary Coleman died last week, tells ET that his ex-wife Shannon Price had been granted authority to make medical decisions for Coleman.
The hospital tells ET: "Mr. Coleman had completed an Advanced Health Care Directive that granted Shannon Price permission to make medical decisions on his behalf if he was unable to do so. An Advanced Health Care Directive remains in effect regardless of a patient's marital status, unless modified by the patient. It is a private medical document which the hospital does not have permission to release. However, we received permission to confirm that the document was in effect at the time of Mr. Coleman's death."
ET obtained exclusive documents earlier Wednesday that revealed that he and Price divorced in 2008.
