Abby Sunderland, the 16-year-old girl from California who was sailing solo around the world when a storm knocked out her satellite phone gear early Thursday, has been found alive and well. A search party aboard a jet spotted Abby’s boat in the Indian Ocean late Thursday and made contact with her by radio, family spokesman William Bennett tells the Associated Press.
