Janet Jackson tweeted her reaction to former child star Gary Coleman's death on Friday.
The pop superstar wrote, "I'm at a loss for words upon learning of Gary Coleman's passing. I want to remember him as the fun, playful, adorable and affectionate man he was. He has left a lasting legacy. I know he is finally at peace."
Gary, who became famous after starring on the '80s sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes," passed away at age 42 on Friday after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage and being taken off life support.

Steve Wynn is launching a new addition to his Encore Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this Memorial Day weekend.
Wynn says his newly opened Encore Beach Club presents "a terrific new opportunity for people who are staying at other hotels to come and be part of the scene here."
The 60,000-square-foot venue features 40-foot palm trees surrounding three tiered pools. A more private Encore Beach Club experience can be had at one of the 26 cabanas outfitted with refrigerators and flat screen televisions.

Gary Coleman, who made a lasting impression on television audiences as the child star of TV's "Diff'rent Strokes," has died after his life support was terminated, ET has learned. He was 42.
The hospital where he was being treated tells ET: "Child actor Gary Coleman died at approximately 12:05 p.m. Mountain. Standard Time at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Family members and close friends were at his side when life support was terminated. Mr. Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his home in Utah on the evening of May 26, 2010. As of mid morning on May 27, Mr. Coleman was conscious and lucid, but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened. Family members express their appreciation and gratitude for the support and prayers that have been expressed for Gary and for them."

Former child star Gary Coleman is on life support at a Utah hospital, after losing consciousness mid-afternoon on Thursday.
A hospital representative tells ET that Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage on Wednesday night. After being immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment, he was transferred to another hospital for tests and treatment.
By mid-morning on Thursday, Coleman was conscious and lucid, but by early afternoon, he began slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened. Coleman has not been in any condition to undergo surgery, the hospital rep says.

"The reaction to this book, not just sales but conversations at book-signings, is the best award I've ever received," says the 74-year-old star, who in 1983 won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 'An Officer and a Gentleman.' Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack was laid to rest at his funeral in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Approximately 75 mourners gathered for the private service, which was held in the same memorial chapel where the late Murphy was eulogized, says People.com. Following the service, Monjack was buried next to Murphy at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The site says a picture of the couple was placed by Monjack's casket, and the ceremony concluded with a recording of Murphy, accompanied by Monjack on piano, singing “Smile.”

Barbara Walters is sharing how she's feeling while recovering from the heart-valve replacement surgery she underwent earlier this month.
Walters had planned on emceeing an event honoring Placido Domingo at El Museo del Barrio's annual gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Thursday. Instead, the recuperating "View" co-host wrote a letter to the famed tenor, which was read aloud at the ceremony by fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
"Dear Placido: Only an injured heart would keep me from being with you tonight," Walters said in her letter to the special lifetime achievement award honoree. "You may have heard that I have had recent surgery to replace a faulty heart valve. I am doing very well but not quite ready to jump rope or go out. How I wish I could say these things in person."

Gary Coleman was hospitalized in critical condition in Utah on Wednesday, and now ET has details behind his hospitalization. Coleman, 42, is hospitalized at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, a spokesperson for the facility tells ET. Coleman's lawyer tells ET that the former child star fell and bumped his head and is still in critical condition in an intensive care unit.
