Madonna Speaks Out in Support of Jailed Gay Couple

Madonna is speaking out in support of two gay men who were handed a 14-year jail sentence in the African nation of Malawi, the same country where two of her children were born. According to the Associated Press, two gay men, Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, were sentenced to 14 years in prison, including hard labor, simply because they are homosexual. The men were arrested in December after they celebrated their engagement with a party, the AP reports. Madonna, whose two youngest children, David and Mercy, were adopted from Malawi, spoke out harshly against the Malawian court's decision, saying, "I am shocked and saddened by the decision made today by the Malawian court, which sentenced two innocent men to prison. Lance Armstrong Crashes in Race After Addressing Doping Allegations

Lance Armstrong began his Thursday by addressing his ex-teammate's doping allegations against him, and later tweeted about his own condition after taking a "face first" spill during a cycling race. The seven-time Tour de France winner spoke out Thursday morning about allegations hurled at him by cyclist Floyd Landis, who once biked on Armstrong’s team and, according to the Associated Press, alleged in e-mails that Armstrong used to dope with him and taught other cyclists how to do so as well. Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest Warrant Recalled

Just in to the ET News Desk: A new development in the Lindsay Lohan saga. A Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman tells us the bench warrant issued for Lohan has been recalled. The actress -- whose bail was set at $100,000 -- paid a bail bond company $10,000 for the bond. Lindsay Lohan Issued Bench Warrant

An arrest warrant has been issued for Lindsay Lohan. The actress failed to appear at her mandatory court hearing today, resulting in the warrant. She was reportedly stuck in France because she claims her passport was stolen while she was at the Cannes Film Festival. "There's really no valid excuse. Probation is revoked, and the court is going to issue a warrant," Judge Marsha Revel said this morning. "I could not have been more clear as to the importance of the hearing." Read More »
