Sarah Palin Testifies Against Alleged Email Hacker

Sarah Palin testified Friday in Tennessee against a former college student accused of hacking into her email account. Sarah testified that she first heard that she'd been hacked while she was on the campaign trail running as Vice President alongside John McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign, according to the Associated Press. David Kernell, the young man who stands accused, is the son of a Democratic lawmaker in Tennessee, and could spend up to 50 years in prison if convicted, according to the AP. Read More »

Mackenzie Phillips Reflects on Addiction at Prism Awards

Since Mackenzie Phillips published shocking claims last fall in her book High on Arrival, the star has made headlines regarding allegations her father had an incestuous relationship with her. She gave ET an update on how she is doing at the Prism Awards on Thursday night in L.A. Finding the courage to walk the red carpet, Mackenzie reported, "I'm doing very well. I feel very hopeful about the future and my life is fairly normal." ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Cast Compares Lingerie Ad to Show’s Costumes

The trendsetting cast of "Dancing with the Stars" infamously wears more skin than fabric in the ballroom. The unabashed dancers didn't shy away from addressing the controversy surrounding a Lane Bryant lingerie ad allegedly restricted by ABC from airing during their show. They took on this hot topic at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood Party on Thursday night at Drai's Hollywood. The ad features plus-size model Ashley Graham posing in lingerie. Last season's dancer Kelly Osbourne outspokenly said, "In my opinion, I think some of the costumes on 'Dancing with the Stars' are a little bit more risqué than that." Louis van Amstel questioned, "C'mon, with all the costumes we have on 'Dancing with the Stars,' this is not allowed? Are you kidding me? I think the ratings would go up." Rehab Center Seeks $75,000 from Casey Johnson’s Estate

A rehab center claims it treated the late Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson and that she owed the facility nearly $75,000. ET has the court papers. Renaissance Malibu filed the five-figure creditor's claim against Johnson's estate on Monday. The facility alleges that on August 30, 2009, Johnson signed up for 30 days there at a cost of $58,250, and goes on to claim that she subsequently sought further services including "13 additional therapy sessions and prescriptions" totaling $16,500. Johnson was found dead on January 4 at the age of 30 due to diabetic ketoacidosis, a complication related to diabetes. Read More »

In an Entertainment Tonight/In Touch exclusive, Hector Penate, the man who claims he had an affair with Larry King's wife Shawn, reveals more bombshells about their alleged tryst! Penate tells our own Samantha Harris that Larry knew about the alleged affair, and at the beginning, Larry seemed to encourage it! "He came to me and said, 'Look, I know she has feelings for you, okay, I see it. I'm not a jealous man,'" says Penate. Court Denies Polanski Victim’s Dismissal Appeal

A dismissal motion, filed by the victim in a decades-long sex case involving Roman Polanski, has reportedly been denied. The Associated Press reports that a California appeals court denied the petition Thursday, after Samantha Geimer tried to dismiss the criminal case against the film director. In March, attorneys for Polanski filed an appeal and were seeking investigation into alleged judicial misconduct in the case. The attorneys also asked that Polanski be sentenced in absentia. Last January, a judge ordered Polanski's return to the U.S., rejecting his previous bid to be sentenced while serving house arrest in Switzerland. Read More »

Bristol Palin Feared For Her Safety After Email Hack

Bristol Palin took the stand today in the case against David Kernell, who is accused of hacking an email account belonging to her mother -- and then Vice Presidential candidate -- Sarah Palin. The Associated Press reports Bristol testified that she was harassed by countless phone calls and text messages after her cell number was posted online due to the hack. Kernell is not accused of making the calls. The 22-year-old is facing charges of identity theft, wire fraud, intentionally accessing an account without authorization, unlawful electronic transmission of material outside Tennessee and attempts to conceal records to impede an FBI investigation.
