Jim Carrey: Tiger Woods’ Wife ‘Was Ignoring the Obvious’

Jim Carrey is tweeting more of his candid thoughts about the Tiger Woods sex scandal, one day after suggesting that Woods' wife Elin Nordegren must have known the golf great was having affairs. "Tiger was wrong and Elin was ignoring the obvious," Carrey tweeted Saturday morning, responding to a fellow Twitter user who'd commented on his post from the previous day. World Leaders React to Polish President’s Plane-Crash Death

World leaders and officials including President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Queen Elizabeth II are offering their condolences in the wake of the tragedy that claimed the lives of Polish President Lech Kaczynski, First Lady Maria Kaczynski and reportedly more than 90 others on Saturday. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kaczynski family, the loved ones of those killed in this tragic plane crash, and the Polish nation," President Obama said, according to the Associated Press. Kaczynski, his first lady wife, and 95 other individuals, including some of Poland's most distinguished military and civilian leaders, died Saturday when the presidential plane crashed while trying to land in thick fog in Russia, says the AP. Dr. Conrad Murray Consents to Texas Propofol Ban

Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson, has agreed not to administer the drug that killed the King of Pop. A rep for Jackson's former personal physician tells ET that Murray and the Texas Medical Board have mutually agreed that Murray will be prohibited from administering or prescribing Propofol or other heavy sedatives. The Board's order does not, however, restrict Murray from prescribing pain medications and local or topical anesthetics. The Board says the license restrictions will remain in effect until the criminal allegations against Murray connected to Jackson's death are resolved. Read More »

Vanessa Hudgens To Perform in ‘Rent’

Vanessa Hudgens will perform in a new production of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl this August. The breakout "High School Musical" star will play Mimi in the musical, running from August 6-8 at the Bowl. The production marks the stage directorial debut of Neil Patrick Harris, who starred in the Los Angeles production of the Tony Award-winning musical in 1997. "She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed," says Neil. "She looks amazing, has great vocal chops, and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi.
