From breakout stars Adam Lambert and the cast of "Glee," to A-listers Drew Barrymore and Halle Berry, the stars were out Saturday night for the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) honored the efforts made in film, television and journalism, calling out Barrymore and comedian Wanda Sykes by name. "The thing that means the most to me about an evening like this, and why I want to fight and be outspoken, is because there are so many people who are in desperate need of family. Sandra Bullock's sister Gesine Bullock-Prado took to her baking blog to squash some rumors and defend her sibling.
Gesine writes on her blog Confessions of a (Closet) Master Baker that she spent Easter weekend with her husband in Chicago, Illinois, while tabloids reported that she took Sandra to an inn for Easter dinner. She writes, "But wait, apparently I'm able to time travel because ... it's reported that my husband of eleven years and I took my sister to some inn (which shall remain nameless because they've gotten enough free publicity from lying up to now) for Easter dinner."
