Adoption Expert Shares Insight Into Sandra Bullock’s Adoption

News broke earlier this week that Sandra Bullock has adopted a baby boy named Louis -- now an adoption expert is breaking down what her adoption process might have been like, and what she'll be facing in the future. People magazine reported Wednesday that Sandra is the proud mama to an infant boy from New Orleans whom she adopted in January. Dr. Elias Lefferman, CEO and President of Vista Del Mar Family Services, says that Sandra didn't likely receive any star treatment in her adoption of baby Louis -- pointing out that she likely would not have had to wait four years, as was reported by People, if that was the case. Reps for Bret Michaels are revealing where the ailing rocker has been hospitalized, and the lead neurosurgeon treating him says, "Bret's sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable." Michaels, who suffered a brain hemorrhage last week, is being treated at the Barrow Neurological Institute -- one of the world’s leading neurological centers, according to his reps -- at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. "In the days following Mr. Michaels' hospitalization, due to a subarachnoid hemorrhage, there was a lot of speculation as to where Mr. Michaels was being treated. Due to the severity of his life-threatening condition, the instantaneous way in which the hemorrhage presented itself, and [out of] respect for his family, his location was not confirmed to the media," Michaels' reps explain. "Dancing with the Stars" contender Evan Lysacek is clarifying comments he made about fellow pro figure skater Johnny Weir. "Johnny Weir is an accomplished and talented skater, and I've skated alongside him as part of Team USA for many years," Lysacek tells ET. "Since the Olympics, I've dealt with Johnny's questioning my integrity and sexuality, and I've never spoken out on my own behalf no matter how hurtful those things may have been." An Orange County realtor tells ET that Sandra Bullock and Jesse James have put their multi-million dollar Sunset Beach home up for sale. Realtor Chuck Buscemi tells us the estranged couple have put their home on the market for $5,995,000. Buscemi says the home will be sold discreetly. Catherine Bach Speaks out After Husband’s Shocking Death

Former "The Dukes of Hazzard" star Catherine Bach's husband Peter Lopez was found dead Friday, and Bach is reacting to the tragic news. "The Lopez family has suffered a tragic personal loss," a rep for Bach tells ET. "Catherine and the girls would appreciate your prayers." ET has learned that the fire department was called at 11:27 a.m. for a reported shooting in Encino, CA. Medical response was dispatched to the location. Officers tell ET that Lopez's death was an apparent suicide, although they are still investigating. Man Convicted in Sarah Palin E-Mail Hacking Case

A 22-year-old former college student accused of hacking into Sarah Palin's e-mail in 2008 has been convicted on two charges in the case. A federal jury found David Kernell guilty of unauthorized access to a computer and obstruction of justice, says the Associated Press. He was found not guilty of wire fraud. The jurors didn't reach a verdict regarding identity theft. The AP says the conviction for obstructing an investigation can result in a maximum 20-year prison sentence. Read More »

Who knew?" says Mindel about how Bullock initially snuck her filing from her husband past the press.
