Kirstie Alley is defending her new weight loss line one day after "The Today Show" ran a segment that suggested her new diet program is connected to the Church of Scientology -- of which Kirstie is a member. Kirstie spoke about her company Organic Liason on Wednesday, saying, "That I would need to clarify or defend the intentions or affiliations of my LLC business corporation in the year 2010 is indicative of the intolerances that we as a country still need to overcome." Oprah Winfrey is scheduled for a stop in Philly -- to face a court date. The daytime TV queen is expected to spend two weeks in Philadelphia, according to the Associated Press, to defend herself in a defamation case.
