Lawyers for Roman Polanski have reportedly filed an appeal related to a 32-year-old sex case. The Associated Press reports that Polanski's lawyers filed an appeal on Thursday in Los Angeles and are seeking special counsel investigation into alleged judicial misconduct. The filing cites evidence that the lawyers claim indicates that the prosecutor knew of judicial misconduct stemming back to the 1970s. The attorneys say that Deputy District Attorney Roger Gunson secretly testified this year about the judge's conduct in the case. Polanski's legal team wants the transcripts of his alleged testimony to be unsealed. Polanski's legal team is also asking for him to be sentenced in absentia (from afar).

Jesse James has broken his silence since the rumors of his marital infidelity -- apologizing for the "grief" he has caused Sandra Bullock and his children. ET has his statement. James told ET on Thursday: "The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them."

Sandra Bullock talks to ET after her Best Actress Oscar win, during which her husband Jesse James had a tear in his eye as she spoke about her late mother.
The emotions were so overwhelming that Sandra says she was lost in the moment. "I don't remember anything that I said," she tells our Kevin Frazier.
"I'm not here by any accident," she says. I'm here because people loved me tough, loved me sweetly, protected me, made sure I came home at night and provided this great life for me. I was sad that [my parents] weren't here to share it."

Fess Parker, who starred on TV as Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone, has reportedly died. He was 85. The Associated Press reports that a family spokesperson says the star died Thursday morning due to natural causes at his home in Santa Ynez, Calif. Parker played frontiersman Davy Crockett in the 1950s and played Daniel Boone in a 1960s television series.

Amid tabloid reports that they are splitting, one report now says that Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James are not currently living under the same roof.
People.com is reporting that the Oscar winner left the California home she and the "Monster Garage" star share -- just days before reports of James’ infidelity surfaced.
Meanwhile, Bullock unexpectedly pulled out of the London premiere for 'The Blind Side,' with the actress saying in a statement, through Warner Brothers, that "Due to unforeseen personal reasons a trip abroad to support 'The Blind Side' has been deemed impossible at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued support of the film."

Even President Barack Obama is offering his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Tiger Woods, following the sports star's announcement that he's returning to pro golf.
"I think that Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family, and that’s a personal issue that he’s got to work out," Mr. Obama told FOX News. "I hope they’ve worked it out, and I’m sure he’s going to still be a terrific golfer.”
As predicted, Woods will be competing in the Masters Tournament this April, according to the pro golfer's Web site.

The California attorney general's office tells the ET news desk that an arrest has been made in an alleged prescription drug ring.
The CA attorney general's office did not indicate whether or not the arrest was linked to the late Corey Haim, but the office announced last Friday that it was investigating an alleged prescription drug ring linked to the star, who died on March 10 at the age of 38.
"We can confirm that an arrest was made during the course of our investigation of the prescription drug fraud ring," a representative from the state attorney general's office tells ET. "However, we can provide no further details at this time."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's life stories are getting the comic-book treatment!
The on-screen 'Twilight' lovers will each star in their own graphic novel courtesy of Bluewater Productions' Fame series, which depicts the biographies of some of the world's biggest celebs.
"Kristen has been in the public eye for years, and her career as a serious actor spans dozens of films over a 10-year period of time," says writer Kim Sherman, who also penned Pattinson's entry in the series. "My goal with [Stewart's] biography was to show readers the depth residing in this young woman and the roles she's beautifully tackled through a series of spot shots, pinups and word art."
