The Brittany Murphy Foundation Refunds Donations

The late Brittany Murphy's mother Sharon and the actress' husband Simon Monjack posted a letter on The Brittany Murphy Foundation's Web site stating that they would be refunding any donations given to their organization. The letter explains their decision to return the donations, reading in part: "We began the Brittany Murphy Foundation to honor Brittany's wishes and to give her family, friends, and fans a way of keeping her legacy alive. In an effort to get the foundation off the ground quickly, we established it as a private foundation with plans to apply for non-profit status down the road. However, after some thought, we have decided instead to wait until we have our non-profit status approved before proceeding to insure that we can truly honor Brittany's charitable desires. Van in Vice President Joe Biden’s Motorcade Involved in Accident

A vehicle in Vice President Joe Biden's motorcade had a minor accident while transporting members of the official U.S. Olympic Games Delegation. Jay Carney, Communications Director for the vice president, tells ET that the accident occurred early Sunday afternoon while on their way to an event. Carney says of the incident, "Two members of the delegation, Peggy Fleming and Vonetta Flowers, received minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital as a precaution. They were both evaluated and have since been released. Neither the Vice President [Biden] nor anyone else in his party was involved in the incident." Read More »

Director Kevin Smith Removed From Flight for Being ‘Too Fat’

Director Kevin Smith tweeted up a storm after being asked to step off a Southwest Airlines flight for being too big for his plane seat. His first tweet read: "Dear @SouthwestAir -- I know I'm fat, but was [the captain] really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?" The attack on the airline continued with this message, reading: "So, @SouthwestAir, go f*** yourself. I broke no regulation, offered no "safety risk" (what, was I gonna roll on a fellow passenger?)" Video: Bruce Lee Immortalized in Wax

The late Bruce Lee's wax figure was recently unveiled at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, and the martial arts icon's daughter was on hand for the festivities. "It's really an honor to be here today to launch this figure," said Shannon Lee, who helped unveil her father's wax double. "I think it's really wonderful that they’ve included my father here in Madame Tussauds. … I feel really proud that he is getting that recognition." New Details on the Alec Baldwin 911 Call

ET has the latest... New information has emerged regarding the February 11 911 call made by Alec Baldwin's teenage daughter Ireland. "Ireland was talking to her dad and they got into an argument," Skip Basinger, the brother of Alec's ex-wife Kim Basigner, tells People. "He got upset. She tried to call him back and she couldn't reach him, so she called 911." But Basigner says the whole situation has been blown out of proportion. Read More »
