Jessica Simpson Offers Up Advice on Love

Jessica Simpson -- who has been romantically linked to Nick Lachey, John Mayer, Tony Romo and most recently rumored to be dating musician Billy Corgan -- took to her Twitter handle to give her advice on love. Her tweet reads: "You can't love someone else to change them. Happiness comes from accepting who they are. It is our decision to REALLY know who we love." Simpson and NFL boyfriend Romo split in the summer of last year and she has been rumored to be seeing Smashing Pumpkins frontman Corgan. New Details: Investigation into Death of Marie Osmond’s Son

ET has obtained new details about the investigation into the suicide death of Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son Michael Bryan. Bryan jumped to his death from his Los Angeles apartment on Friday night around 9 p.m. The Los Angeles Fire Department tells us they received a 911 call at 9:24 p.m. and were dispatched a minute later. An individual who'd fallen from a 15-story building was found dead at the scene of the incident. The ongoing investigation is being handled by the LAPD and the Los Angeles Coroner's Department. Jim Carrey is a new grandfather and he took to his Twitter account to share a pic of his baby grandson. ET confirmed that Carrey's singer/songwriter daughter Jane Carrey, 22, and her musician hubby Alex Santana welcomed Jackson Riley Santana at 12:28 a.m. on Friday. The newborn weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. Carrey tweeted a photo of the adorable baby, writing: "Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! Marie Osmond’s Son Commits Suicide

ET has learned that Marie Osmond's son Michael Bryan leapt to his death Friday night in Los Angeles. Contacted by phone this morning, Donny Osmond told us: "Please pray for my sister and her family." Here are the details: Michael, who was 18 and is one of Marie's eight children, died after jumping from his downtown Los Angeles apartment at about 9 p.m. on Friday night. He left a note explaining he intended to commit suicide due to his life-long battle with severe depression that left him, he said, feeling as if he had no friends and could never fit in. "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time," Marie, who helped her son fight depression throughout his life, tells ET. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Reacts to Chile Earthquake, Tsunami Advisory

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says his administration is prepared to assist earthquake-ravaged Chile and is keeping track of developments regarding the related tsunami advisory. "Maria and I send our thoughts and prayers to the people of Chile as they begin to respond to this disaster,” Schwarzenegger tells ET. “The state of California has a very special relationship with Chile because of the Chilean-California Partnership, and my administration has already been in contact with President Bachelet's government to assure her we are ready to assist in any way." Chile Earthquake Dominates TV News Networks

A deadly 8.8-magnitude earthquake shook Chile early Saturday morning, spawning a tsunami that reportedly poses a threat to Hawaii and much of the Pacific Rim, and the cable news networks are providing extended coverage. FOX News is calling the earthquake the most powerful to hit Chile in 50 years, and CNN meteorologist Chad Meyers estimates that the quake contained "somewhere between 800 and 900 times the shaking power" of the natural disaster that struck Haiti last month. More than 120 people in Chile are dead in the earthquake's aftermath, and the number of fatalities is "quickly rising," says the Associated Press.
