Brooke Mueller, the wife of Charlie Sheen, is reportedly responding well to antibiotics in intensive care after a serious infection from an impacted wisdom tooth sent her to a Los Angeles hospital. Brooke's mother, Moira Fiore, tells People.com, "Brooke came in at the very last minute because sepsis from an infection following surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth had invaded her system, and her organs were starting to shut down. Today her lungs, kidney and liver functions look better. But doctors are still worried about her low blood pressure." Brooke was reportedly battling a case of pneumonia after being rushed to an L.A. hospital Tuesday night with a 105-degree fever, according to her mother, who calls the situation a "close call."
