Latest: Prosecutor Moves to Oppose Roman Polanski Sentencing from Afar

A prosecutor has reportedly filed legal papers documenting his opposition to Roman Polanski's request to be sentenced from afar related to a 32-year-old sex case. The Associated Press reports that Deputy District Attorney David Walgren said Friday that the film director, who is on house arrest in Switzerland, is a "convicted child rapist" and a fugitive who should not dictate how the case should proceed in the courts. The filing comes on the heels of Polanski's recent request to a Los Angeles judge to be sentenced in absentia without having to return to the United States. Read More »

Tiger Woods Plans to Help with Haiti Relief

Tiger Woods is reportedly planning to help earthquake victims in Haiti. The Associated Press reports that Woods plans to lend his help to the relief efforts. Tiger Woods Foundation president Greg McLaughlin tells the AP that Woods' staff is looking into what the best way to help victims would be, but acknowledges that helping the youth would be in line with Woods' prior efforts to help victims of Hurricane Katrina and the 2004 tsunami. ‘Bachelor’ Producer and Ex Wife Had Pre-Nup

ET has the latest... Ryan Callahan, the producer who was fired from "The Bachelor" after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with now-booted contestant Rozlyn Papa, apparently had a prenuptial agreement with his ex wife. ET has the court papers. The papers, which were filed May 18 of last year, state that Callahan and his wife were married on April 16, 2006 and separated on March 3, 2009 and that they have a prenuptial agreement. "The parties have a prenuptial agreement in this marriage which directs the resolution of all property in this matter," the papers say. Read More »

Dennis Hopper Files for Divorce Amid Cancer Fight

Actor Dennis Hopper has filed for divorce from his wife of over 13 years while he is battling cancer. Dennis filed for divorce on Thursday in Los Angeles from his wife Victoria, citing irreconcilable differences. The date of separation was listed as January 12, 2010. Dennis requests that both parties pay attorneys fees, but asks that spousal support be awarded to his wife. He also asks for property rights to be determined. The couple, who married on April 12, 1996, have a six-year-old daughter named Galen. Dennis is asking that the couple share joint custody. Read More »

First Lady Michelle Obama is lending her support to the movement to help Haitian earthquake victims in this new PSA. "The images from Haiti are heartbreaking.
