The stars spoke out in support of victims of Tuesday's cataclysmic earthquake in Haiti. "I work in Haiti, I’ve been to Haiti, my friends are in Haiti right now, digging out other friends," actress Maria Bello told ET at the event. We give 100 percent of the money to Haiti to people who are working on the ground at a children’s hospital, a hospital for disabled kids, many orphanages and street schools and it’s devastating what’s happening there." George Clooney is putting together a telethon in support of victims of Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti. The event will be broadcast on all MTV channels as well as ABC, NBC, HBO, CNN on Friday, January 22nd from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST. The details are still being worked out in terms of which stars will appear and which charities will benefit. The estate of the late Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein has reportedly settled a lawsuit pertaining to a fatal 2008 South Carolina plane crash. The Associated Press reports that the terms of the settlement weren't revealed. Goldstein had suffered injuries as a result of the plane crash that killed four people, and he was originally seeking $20 million in damages -- an amount that a jury would have had to approve. According to the AP, the suit was later amended to include a wrongful death claim after the August 2009 death of Goldstein, who passed away due to an accidental overdose. Read More »
