Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange has been released from the hospital following a reported suicide attempt on Saturday. A New Jersey police detective tells the Associated Press that Lange underwent surgery for self-inflicted stab wounds to the abdomen. The detective says the 42-year-old comic was taken to the hospital Saturday after his mother found him on the floor of his home. Lange’s publicist declined comment and requested that his client’s privacy be respected.
