Elin Nordegren (believed to be pictured above) reportedly celebrated the New Year's holiday in a snowy setting far away from her embattled husband Tiger Woods.
Reports say Elin and a group of close friends, including her twin sister Josefin, retreated to a luxurious chalet tucked away in France's Chamonix Valley, where they enjoyed plenty of R&R and some skiing on the picturesque slopes.
Tiger's wife was said to be in "great spirits" as she celebrated New Year's Eve at a popular Chamonix restaurant with her gal pals, sharing a champagne toast at midnight, reports Radar Online. And on January 1 (also her 30th birthday), Elin relaxed inside the posh chalet's cozy confines, says Us magazine.

ET confirms that comedian Artie Lange, one of radio icon Howard Stern's on-air sidekicks, has been hospitalized.
"We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital," a rep for Lange tells us. "Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment."
Lange was absent from Stern's Sirius-XM radio program in the days leading up to the show's two-week holiday break. The show is scheduled to return live on Monday.

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's musician daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, is speaking out following her hospitalization last month.
“Hey Everyone!!! I just wanted to thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love and support. It's certainly been a whirlwind of a month, but reading all of your encouraging posts has never failed to cheer me up!!!” Joel blogged Thursday on her MySpace account.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter, who spent several hours at a New York hospital on Dec. 5 after reportedly consuming pills, went on to say that she has a number of “’exciting new developments for the New Year.”
