According to court documents obtained by ET, Courtney Love's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, has been placed under temporary guardianship. A Los Angeles court has granted Wendy O'Connor and Kimberly Dawn Cobain guardianship over the 17-year-old. O'Connor is the mother of the late Kurt Cobain and Kimberly Cobain is the former Nirvana rocker's younger sister, says the Associated Press. The court documents do not indicate the reason for the guardianship, which is in effect until February 10, 2010. The temporary guardians, however, do not have authority over the teenager's trust.

How will Tiger Woods' leave of absence impact the game of golf? Can he rebound from the swirling controversy surrounding him? The Golf Channel's Steve Sands weighs in. "It's hard to tell right now, but obviously Tiger Woods not being in the game for any amount of time is not a great thing for the game of golf, but the game is bigger than an individual, so we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out," Sands tells ET. "In the short term, the really big hit will be ticket sales of the events that he normally plays and television ratings at the tournaments that he normally plays." "If his indefinite leave of absence goes beyond 2010, then you might see companies not being involved in the PGA tour that are involved in the game of golf right now," he adds.

Cori Rist, the latest woman allegedly connected to Tiger Woods, says she made a mistake when she had an affair with the golf pro, and feels sorry for his wife.
"I'm sorry for her pain. I hate that I'm a part of it," the 31-year-old mother told "Today" show correspondent Natalie Morales on Monday. "I had no idea it would be like this. I can only imagine the pain she's feeling now, and I'm sorry."
She claims she is only telling her story to clear reports that she was paid to be Tiger's lover. "I felt it was necessary to defend myself because I'm hearing negative reports; they're not true," she said on the program. "I'm not an escort, he has not paid me, I'm a mother. At the end of the day, I made a mistake, but I'm not what they're claiming that I am. So I will defend myself ...

Accenture Ltd. has reportedly cut ties with Tiger Woods after six years, making the global consulting firm the first major sponsor to altogether end their working relationship with the pro golfer after reports of infidelity emerged.
"After careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that [Woods] is no longer the right representative for its advertising," Accenture said in a statement, adding that the decision comes after learning of the "circumstances of the last two weeks." The firm's campaign with Woods had a slogan that read, "Go on, be a Tiger." The firm is now planning to roll out new advertisements later in 2010.
As for Woods' other sponsorships, Gatorade announced last week that it had discontinued Gatorade Tiger Focus but claimed that decision was made prior to the scandalous reports, while Gillette said it would not be airing ads featuring Woods or using him for public appearances.
