Melanie Griffith has undergone surgery to remove the early stages of skin cancer.
Griffith's rep tells ET that the actress had early-stage skin cancer removed from her face. The reps says that the procedure left Griffith with a black eye, but that the cancer was caught early enough to prevent further complications.

Michael Phelps is sharing his thoughts on the Tiger Woods scandal. The Associated Press reports that the Olympic great recently said that he feels sorry for Woods and his family in the wake of the headline-grabbing news of their marital troubles. According to the AP, the swimmer has said that he would "be the first to admit I've made a lot of mistakes both in and out of the pool."

Michael J. Fox's newest book, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future, will be published on April 13, 2010 by Hyperion, with the former "Spin City" and 'Back to the Future' star offering advice and encouragement to graduates. Despite reports to the contrary, reality couple Jon and Kate Gosselin will stick together through the holidays -- and they will even reunite for Christmas!
Although some reports suggest their divorce will be finalized within the next 24 hours, Jon's attorney Mark Heller tells ET that the arbitration process must be complete before the divorce can be finalized. According to him, it is still a work in progress and won't likely be resolved until 2010.
Heller says that Jon and Kate will be entering 2010 as Husband & Wife. He also added that the TV couple will put their differences aside for the holidays as Jon and Kate will come together again for Christmas.

ET confirms Anne Hathaway was involved in a traffic collision in West Hollywood on Wednesday afternoon. A police spokesperson tells us the actress was a passenger in a car (driven by a male) that collided with a bicyclist. Police say the bicyclist was at fault but was not severely injured or taken to the hospital. The collision occurred around 1:10 p.m.

Striker owns Striker VIP, a company that arranges legitimate, all access experiences for celebrities. He describes his line of work, saying, "What I do is I protect these lofty celebrities from these pitfalls."
The first woman to make headlines in the Woods scandal, Rachel Uchitel, was reportedly a VIP hostess for a club in New York City, and Striker says he absolutely knew of her. "Rachel and a lot of young ladies that come around like Rachel, they're beautiful young ladies, and these celebrities invite them into their world, invite them into their VIP booths, and there's where the problems occur," Striker tells ET.
