Tiger Woods Prior to Scandal: Family First and Golf Second

In his last known interview before news broke of his alleged affairs, Tiger Woods spoke of keeping his family first while maintaining his title as the best golfer in the world -- and ET has the exclusive video. Sky Television New Zealand's "Deaker on Sport" host Murray Deaker spoke to Woods on November 10, only weeks before his car accident that sparked a media frenzy. During the interview, which aired Tuesday night in New Zealand, Deaker posed the question to the pro golfer: "Family first and golf second ... always been that way?" Woods answers, "Always." Deaker suggests that Woods' family time means less time on the golf course, to which Woods, 33, responds, "I don't practice as much as I used to. I don't spend the amount of hours on the golf course, not like I used to ... But my focus is so much more intense than it ... Read More »

Michael Jackson Estate Administrators Seeking Funds

The administrators of Michael Jackson's estate and a host of attorneys are reportedly seeking what could amount to millions of dollars in estate earnings. Estate administrators John Branca and John McClain are seeking five percent of the money the estate has earned following Jackson’s June 25 death, says the Associated Press. The administrators and a host of attorneys claim in court filings they haven’t been paid since the King of Pop died. The AP says Branca is requesting that the five percent be disbursed to his firm; he reportedly isn’t seeking a personal fee for administering the estate. Payments would also be funneled to other firms, including one that represents the Jackson children’s interests. A hearing to determine how much can be paid out is set for Jan 4. Read More »

Lawyer for Tiger Woods Doc Asserts Physician’s Innocence

A lawyer for Dr. Anthony Galea, who has treated Tiger Woods, says the physician is innocent of allegations of wrongdoing. A Canadian probe into the doctor could result in charges by this Friday, on which date the doctor will face his first court appearance. The lawyer said in a press conference Tuesday that the Canadian charges, if filed, are expected to be related to conspiracy, the Customs Act and the Food and Drug Act. The lawyer said that an assistant for the doctor was stopped on the U.S.-Canadian border, which ended up triggering an investigation of Galea. The lawyer said that while a small amount of Human Growth Hormone was confiscated, it was for the doctor's own personal use: "There was a very, very small amount of HGH and it was only for him," the lawyer said. He explained that Galea believes in the therapeutic use of steroids in non-competing aged 40-plus ... Read More »
