AT&T Drops Tiger Woods Sponsorship

AT&T has announced it is cutting ties with embattled golf great with Tiger Woods. "We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future," the phone company said in a statement. Earlier this month, the global consulting firm Accenture decided to end its working relationship with Woods, and Gatorade discontinued a Tiger-themed beverage. Update: Rush Limbaugh Leaves Hospital, Discusses His Chest Pain Scare

Conservative radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has been released from the hospital, and he reavealed what doctors told him about his heart health during a press conference in Honolulu on Friday morning. Limbaugh said he was taken to the hospital for treatment and tests on Wednesday afternoon after he felt “pain in my upper-left chest like I had never experienced before.” “Yesterday morning [Thursday] I had an angiogram, which is a catheter treatment through the heart, and they found absolutely nothing wrong,” he said. “It was a blessing -- no arterial disease, no coronary disease whatsoever.” Read More »

Mike Tyson in the Clear After Alleged Airport Scuffle

Los Angeles prosecutors have opted not to charge former boxing champ Mike Tyson following his arrest for an alleged altercation with a photog at LAX airport in November. The prosecutors said they couldn’t find enough evidence to charge Tyson or photographer Tony Echeverria, reports the Associated Press. The two men were arrested on Nov. 11 after an alleged incident in which both individuals claimed they’d been hit by the other. Read More »

Kim Kardashian hosted a pre-New Year’s Eve bash Tuesday night at Eva Longoria Parker's new Las Vegas nightclub, Eve, at Crystals in CityCenter. Kim was joined at the party by her close friend Brittny Gastineau. They also dined together at Longoria Parker's new restaurant, Beso (an extension of her Hollywood restaurant), which is located right below Eve. Prosecutor Opposes Charlie Sheen’s Motion to Dismiss Wife’s Protective Order

Arnold Mordkin, the chief deputy district attorney in Pitkin County, CO, tells ET he has taken steps to file paperwork opposing Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller's wish to have a Colorado court dismiss the protection order provided to Mueller. Mordkin tells us his office typically opposes lifting a protection order in cases of alleged domestic violence. He says in this instance, he’s opposed to lifting sections of the order that prohibit Sheen from possessing a weapon, drinking alcohol or using drugs. Charlie Sheen and Wife Seek Dismissal of Protection Order

Just in to the ET news desk: A motion filed on Wednesday by Charlie Sheen's lawyer Richard Cummins stating that both the actor and his wife, Brooke Mueller, want a judge to dismiss the protection order provided to Mueller. Earlier in the day, Mueller’s lawyer Yale Galanter told us Mueller and Sheen wanted to get back in contact with each other "so they can work on resolving the conflicts in their marriage." Rosie O'Donnell, whose split from longtime love Kelli Carpenter recently became public, is dating a new woman.
