Heidi Klum finalized her legal name-change on Friday. Heidi’s new last name became Samuel – Seal’s surname – after a Los Angeles commissioner signed off on the name change, says People.com. The supermodel cited “marriage” as her motive for the change. Heidi and Seal have been married for more than four years and have four children together.

ET confirms that Levi Johnston's mother Sherry Johnston has been sentenced to five years in jail, following her guilty plea to a drug charge stemming from her arrest last December. Sherry’s lawyer tells us she only faces two years of actual incarceration: Two of her five years were suspended, and she’ll receive one year of “good time” credit as well as credit for the three months she’s already served. She could possibly serve her time at home via an ankle monitor due to her lack of criminal history, her lawyer adds. Sherry also faces three years of probation once she gets out of jail or off the ankle monitor.

Dr. Phil McGraw, who rose to fame appearing on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and eventually launched his own TV program, is opening up to ET about the news that Lady O is ending her show in 2011.
“This is a very nostalgic moment for me. Oprah Winfrey is first and foremost one of my dearest friends and obviously the person who taught me everything I know about television,” Dr. Phil tells us.
“Her show was home for me for five of the most exciting years of my life. ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ is the gold standard and I know that she will succeed at whatever she chooses to do next.”

Publisher HarperCollins says the first-day sales for Sarah Palin’s new memoir are among the best ever for a nonfiction book.
The publisher reports that Palin’s book, Going Rogue: An American Life, sold 300,000 copies its first day out, says the Associated Press. Former President Bill Clinton’s My Life sold 400,000 copies the day it was released in 2004, and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Living History moved 200,000 copies one year earlier.
ET was on the ground in Grand Rapids, MI on Wednesday for Palin's first stop on her book tour, where a list of rules for those waiting to get their copy of the book had been posted!

Misdemeanor assault and harassment charges against John Rich, of the country music duo Big & Rich, have been dismissed.
Rich was among the witnesses to testify before a judge on Friday that he didn’t punch Jared Ashley at a night club last year, says the Associated Press.
Ashley is a former contestant on the reality competition "Nashville Star."

A judge has upped the bond to $100,000 for Michael Barrett, the man accused of surreptitiously filming ESPN reporter Erin Andrews.
Barrett, who was in a Los Angeles court on Friday to face one count of interstate stalking, has posted bond, his attorney tells the Associated Press. He was originally free on a $4,500 bond.
Barrett is set to be arraigned on Monday.

Talk-show host and celebrity cook Rachael Ray tells ET her thoughts about the news that Oprah Winfrey's show will come to an end in 2011. Rachael tells ET: "I am going to enjoy every episode between now and 2011. Oprah opened the door for me to move into daytime television and I can’t thank her enough. I look forward to seeing what she does next…there will only ever be one Oprah!" Earlier Friday, Oprah announced the news on her show, saying in part, "Why walk away? Here is the real reason -- I love this show, this show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it's time to say goodbye." The tearful TV icon then said that the 25-year mark was "the exact right time," before adding that "the countdown to the end of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' starts right now."

The Cyrus family is speaking out following the death of a bus driver from Miley Cyrus' tour who passed away this morning after a tour bus crash.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill “Uncle Bill” Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed," the Cyrus family said in a statement posted on www.MileyCyrus.com.
Earlier today, news broke that Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, passed away at the scene after the tour bus he was driving crashed in Virginia Friday morning. The bus was traveling along with three other buses (carrying members of Miley's production crew but not Miley) southbound on Interstate I-85 just south of Petersburg, VA, when it ran off the left side of the road and overturned.
