According to a report, Swiss authorities told U.S. authorities that Roman Polanski was going to be visiting Switzerland. The Associated Press reports that the Swiss Federal Office of Justice tipped off U.S. officials on September 22, days before Polanski was to arrive in Switzerland to receive an honor at the Zurich Film Festival. Anna Nicole Smith's former psychiatrist says the late actress fit the legal definition of an addict, according to a new report. The Associated Press reports that Dr. Nathalie Maullin testified Tuesday that Smith fit the definition, but that the words "addict" or "addiction" were never used in discussing Smith's problems with her, her former boyfriend Howard K. Stern and her former doctor Sandeep Kapoor. Maullin treated Smith for an apparent withdrawal from pain and anti-anxiety medication, the AP reports. The celebs hit the red carpet in Anaheim for Tiger Woods' fifth annual block party to benefit the Tiger Woods Learning Center, also located in Anaheim. Jamie McCourt, the co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, was honored at the event. A former attorney, Jamie is considered one of the most powerful figures in American sports. New documents obtained by ET show that Richard Heene, the father of the so-called "Balloon Boy," was granted a temporary restraining order against a Los Angeles man, in part because Heene claimed the man "eroneously (sic) reported [him] to the the Department of Children and Family Services." Richard and his wife Mayumi asked for protection from Matt Wineroth for themselves and their three children, Bradford, Ryo and Falcon, back in 2006. They claimed that Wineroth, who they called an "ex-employee," not only reported them to DCFS, but they also alleged that he and his partner Josh Chase had stolen a copy of a database from their production company, My You Me Productions. In papers, Richard Heene also alleges that Wineroth told him, "I'm going to kick your ass," and that Wineroth "stared at [him] intently as though he was going to do [him] physical harm." Read More »

A homemade-looking box asking for "Letters of Support" has appeared outside the "Balloon Boy" family home in Colorado. The box sits outside the home of Richard and Mayumi Heene, who are under fire after authorities began investigating them on suspicion of concocting a hoax that involved telling the world their six-year-old may be flying thousands of feet in the air in a homemade balloon. New papers obtained by ET demonstrate that "Balloon Boy"'s dad Richard Heene has been involved in a number of court cases as both a plaintiff and a defendant over the years.
