Larry Birkhead, the former boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith and the father of her daughter, has taken the stand in a preliminary hearing. Three people, Howard K. Stern, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, are being investigated for allegedly illegally supplying Smith with drugs before her 2007 drug-related death. Birkhead said on the stand Friday that he often saw Smith take drugs such as Methadone and also told the judge that he'd seen Valium and other drugs at her home, according to the Associated Press.   Our Kevin Frazier goes one-on-one with Larry Birkhead, who tells ET his hopes for resolution in the Anna Nicole Smith drug trial. The father of Anna Nicole's little girl, Dannielynn, says it is hard to revisit the past now that the trial has begun. "It is tough when you're trying to be a dad," he says. "I think Anna would be proud of the way she's growing up and that she's just kinda like, there's no replacement for Anna, but if you look at her some days, she is Anna -- she's the closest you can get to that, and it's tough." A new book, performed on CD by Jennifer Aniston, hopes to inspire kids to make a difference.
