Nicole Richie in Car Accident

Nicole Richie has been involved in a car accident. ET can confirm that Richie, who had one adult passenger in the car she was driving, was rear-ended just before 2 p.m. on Monday in Beverly Hills. Police tell ET that Richie complained of pain following the accident but decided to see her own doctors for treatment. The driver of the other car was cited for being an unlicensed driver and the other car was towed. Read More »

Secret Tape Played for Jurors at Travolta Extortion Trial

Footage from a hidden-camera was reportedly shown before the jury in a Bahamas courtroom on Monday in the case involving an alleged extortion attempt against John Travolta. The tape reportedly shows politician and lawyer Pleasant Bridgewater speaking with Travolta's attorney and requesting $20 million be given to the paramedic, Tarino Lightbourne, who treated the actor's son, Jett, on the day of his death, according to the Associated Press. The tape was reportedly recorded when Bahamas police set up hidden cameras in a hotel room where Bridgewater met with Travolta's lawyer, Michael McDermott, reports the AP. At one point during the taped encounter, Bridgewater reportedly calls Lightbourne on a cell phone to notify him that Travolta's attorney is prepared to offer $250,000. She then relays the message from Lightbourne, who allegedly said, "My mortgage is more than that." Read More »

Erin Andrews Thanks Law Enforcement Officers for Making Arrest

ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has issued a statement thanking Assistant United States Attorney Wes Hsu and Special Agents for their "dedicated service." Michael David Barrett was arrested Friday in Chicago. He is accused of filming the reporter without her consent or knowledge on multiple occasions. The filming took place through peepholes while she was staying in hotels. Andrews hopes this arrest "will help the countless others who have been similarly victimized." She continued, "I will make every effort to strengthen the laws on a State and Federal level to better protect victims of criminal stalking." Read More »
