ET First: Ted Kennedy’s Will

ET has obtained a copy of Ted Kennedy's last will and testament, and only we are first to show you the documents… An interesting element to the will is that the executor, Paul Kirk, will fill Kennedy's seat now that he's gone. A former Kennedy staffer, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee and the head of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, Kirk was officially named this week as interim senator until a special election in January. The rest of the will, signed by Kennedy and notarized on August 25, 2006, is straightforward business, giving all property "of whatever kind and wherever located" to the trustees of The Edward M. Kennedy 2006 Trust, providing for the payment of debts, funeral and burial expenses and the expenses of administering his estate and related taxes for his wife Victoria R. Kennedy and his children. Suzanne Somers Offers Apology to Patrick Swayze’s Family

Suzanne Somers sends her condolences to the family of the late Patrick Swayze and issues an apology for a comment she gave that was made public, she says, without her knowledge. "In a casual conversation at a private party (with someone who never identified himself as a reporter) at the Toronto Film Festival last week, I was asked about this beloved actor. It was never my intention to make an official statement about his passing," Somers wrote on her blog, referring to a comment she made about Swayze's cancer treatments. Somers reportedly talked about Swayze to a Toronto-based columnist of the National Post, saying, "They took this beautiful man and they basically put poison in him. ... Why couldn't they have built him up nutritionally and gotten rid of the toxins in his body? I hate to be this controversial. I'm a singer-dancer-comedienne. But we have an epidemic going on, and ... After a video surfaced last month of what appeared to be "Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane, his wife Rebecca Gayheart, and another woman nude together, the couple filed suit Wednesday for copyright infringement. The suit says that the website posted nearly four full minutes of the nude video on August 17, and that it was given a takedown notice that same day "demanding that it immediately remove and cease and desist and refrain from exploiting, publishing, posting, displaying, distributing, or otherwise using or disseminating the video…" Read More »

Christopher Andersen’s Revelations on the President & First Lady

Christopher Andersen, who has previously written about the Kennedys, the Clintons and Princess Diana, puts pen to paper for a new book about the president and first lady, Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage. "They have had some very rough times in their marriage," Andersen tells ET, going on to say that the couple's early days were especially difficult as they had big student loans to pay off and his state senator's position didn't pay much. According to Andersen, "When he turned down a $300,000 job offer to run a foundation, Michelle blew up and she basically gave him an ultimatum. She said, 'Either you put your family first or that is it.' He was in Springfield four nights a week, and Michelle was back in Chicago with two very young children, she finally had had enough. And she said, 'No, I did not sign on for this.'" ... Read More »
