John Travolta’s Employee Testifies in Extortion Case

A security specialist for John Travolta testified Monday in the Bahamas and supported the claim that the star was asked to pay $25 million as part of an alleged extortion plot. Read on for details… The Associated Press reports that Travolta's employee, Ronald Zupancic, testified that a paramedic who treated Travolta's late son Jett threatened to go to the media with private information unless the star paid him millions. Zupancic also testified that he was the one who told Travolta of ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne's demand. Zupancic also testified that Lightbourne contacted Travolta's attorneys through his attorney, former Bahamas Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater, the AP reports. Bridgewater is the other defendant in the case. Tonight on ET, we have another Jackson exclusive: Jermaine Jackson, on the record about family infighting -- and the real reason he pulled out of a scheduled photo shoot with his brothers. ET's own Kevin Frazier was with Jermaine at a Hollywood photo shoot for his upcoming A&E reality series (and possible album cover), just days after brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie posed without him in New York. Jermaine's image will be Photoshopped in with them for the final picture. Back in New York, Marlon told Kevin, "[Jermaine's] in California. He's got pink eye. Penelope Cruz Reacts to Pregnancy Rumors & Kissing Scarlett Johansson

Rumors have been swirling as to whether Penelope Cruz is pregnant with her actor boyfriend Javier Bardem's baby -- the actress talks to Vanity Fair magazine about the reports and answers the question:  Of her female costars, who is the better kisser, Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron? Cruz locked lips with Johansson in the 2008 film 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' -- which also starred Bardem -- and kissed Theron in the 2004 movie 'Head in the Clouds.' When asked to compare her smooches with the sexy stars, the Oscar-winning actress told VF, "No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. Both were pretty beautiful partners." ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ Pilot to Fly Again

ET has learned that Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the heroic pilot who safely executed an emergency water landing in New York City's Hudson River last January, is headed back to work. Read on for details… Capt. Sullenberger will return in a new role as a management pilot. In addition to his flying duties, he will also join US Airways' flight operations safety management team. "The months since January 15 have been very full, and my family and I have had some unforgettable experiences," Capt. Sullenberger said. "However, I have missed working with my colleagues at US Airways and I am eager to get back in the cockpit with my fellow pilots in the months ahead. Just In: The David Hasselhoff 911 Call

ET has obtained the audio from a 911 call made regarding David Hasselhoff last weekend. In the audio, a woman is calling to report that a man, Hasselhoff, needs an ambulance. "The guy is 57 years old," the unidentified woman says on the tape. She mentions that her girlfriend's daughter, Hayley, is with Hasselhoff. Hayley is Hasselhoff's daughter with ex Pamela Bach. Later, the 911 operator calls Hasselhoff's home, and Hayley answers the phone. Hayley says, "No, no, it's fine, we're fine here," and asks the operator to make the ambulance turn around. She adds, "My mom's just trying to cause something." Read More »

‘Twilight”s Taylor Lautner Parties with Young Hollywood Stars

Taylor Lautner is the newest cover boy for Teen Vogue and the 'Twilight' teen wolf attended the magazine's 7th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, where many of his friends and peers were present, including Selena Gomez, who he was frequently photographed with earlier this year. Lautner reveals the actors that he's influenced by and the list includes Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Kelly Osbourne arrived to the party in a figure-hugging dress and her boyfriend on her arm. "I do say that right now there are a lot of really young, great girls out there that are setting good examples and not using their bodies to sell albums or make movies. Report: Key Evidence Possibly Destroyed in Travolta Extortion Case

New reports say key evidence may have been destroyed in the John Travolta extortion case. As reported earlier, a man and a woman are being prosecuted in the trial for allegedly attempting to extort $25 million from the actor. The trial began last Tuesday and prosecutors are alleging that the paramedic who treated Travolta's late son Jett, 16, threatened to go public with confidential information unless the actor paid him. The woman in the case, Pleasant Bridgewater -- who was a Bahamian senator prior to being arrested for extortion -- allegedly destroyed evidence by setting it ablaze, according to People.com.
