Redmond O'Neal pleaded no contest to felony drug possession today, according to the Santa Clarita District Attorney's Office, and will be transported from county jail to a California drug treatment facility. The D.A. says that the son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett pleaded to possession of an illegal substance in a jail facility and admitted the allegation that he committed the offense while out on bail. Redmond was sentenced by a Santa Clarita Superior Court Judge to a minimum of one year in a residential drug treatment program in California along with a six-year suspended state prison term and three years of formal probation.
