Peter, Paul & Mary Singer Passes Away

Mary Travers of the famous 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary has passed away, the band’s publicist tells the Associated Press. She was 72. According to the group's publicist, Travers died at a Connecticut hospital on Wednesday. She had suffered from leukemia for a number of years. Peter, Paul and Mary were known for their rendition of "If I Had a Hammer," as well as songs such as "Lemon Tree," "Leaving on a Jet Plane" and "Puff (The Magic Dragon).” Read More »

Michael Jackson’s Dermatologist Issues Demand to UK Paper

In a letter obtained by ET, lawyers for Michael Jackson's former dermatologist Dr. Arnie Klein issue a demand to the U.K. newspaper The Sun, following Klein’s lawsuit against L.A. plastic surgeon Steven Hoefflin. In the letter, Klein’s attorneys challenge the paper to produce “all ‘factual evidence’ supporting Dr. Hoefflin’s claim that The Sun is in possession of phone records, recordings and documents purportedly showing that Conrad Murray ‘definitely called Klein’ on the day of Michael Jackson’s death.” Earlier Wednesday, Klein's attorney Richard L. ‘Laugh-In’ Funnyman Henry Gibson Dies

Veteran comedian and character actor Henry Gibson has passed away. He was 73. According to the actor's son James, Gibson died Monday at his home in Malibu, CA after a brief battle with cancer, reports the Associated Press. Gibson was perhaps best known for reciting offbeat poetry on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" on TV in the late '60s and early '70s. He also appeared in such films as 'The Long Goodbye,' 'The 'Burbs' opposite Tom Hanks, 'Wedding Crashers' and 'Nashville,' which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Read More »

Kelly Clarkson performed a free concert in Los Angeles on Monday night, where she shared her thoughts about the passing of Patrick Swayze, and opened up about the blog she wrote criticizing Kanye West for interrupting Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech. "I just found out two seconds ago that Patrick Swayze died, and he was one of the first people that I met right after I won 'Idol,'" Kelly said. "I did this event, and it was a private event, and he was there and he sought me out. I thought it was so cool because obviously 'Dirty Dancing' is everyone's favorite film. He was just the nicest guy. And I just think it’s awesome that you can remember someone that’s actually classy in the industry. Obviously he had a big impact on pop culture."
